About Us

First and foremost, the Mount Airy Center is a space that aims to serve. Our Center focuses on training people in the leadership principles of Jesus; namely, loving God and loving others.

We use our facility to host small groups to study Jesus’ teachings, to train interns in the principles of discipleship, and to help organize the National Student Leadership Forum, an annual conference for college students on faith and values that takes place in our nation’s capital. Because of the nature of these events, we are particularly involved with discipling college-age students and recent graduates. Our post-graduate intern program is specifically tailored, over the course of a calendar year, to instill in participants the significance of Jesus’ life on earth, and the lessons we can draw from it that still apply to our lives today.

If we had to summarize our mission statement in two words: “servant leadership”. This method of leading others was exemplified best by Jesus, one of the most influential figures in the history of the human race. The operations of the faith-based non-profit Mount Airy Center are predicated on sharing those servant leadership values with others.
